El nombre de esta serie se corresponde con la dirección, en la ciudad de Colonia, del edificio EL-DE-Haus, el cual sirvió de 1935 a 1945 como cuartel de la Gestapo, la policía secreta del régimen Nacionalsocialista.
Lo interesante de este lugar es que las instalaciones se mantienen intactas desde que fueran abandonadas al término de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, lo que las convierte en un espacio altamente sugestivo y de enorme poder evocador.
La serie pretende ser un recorrido emocional, más que descriptivo, del lugar. Las imágenes allí tomadas son manipuladas en base a la visión subjetiva del autor, enfatizando las sensaciones que produce en el visitante, y la evocación de los hechos que allí pudieron suceder.
La obra se organiza mediante una secuencia organizada a modo de retazos de visión, cuyos elementos se vinculan entre sí mediante conexiones visuales y simbólicas. Se busca asimismo que las imágenes se fundan en el fondo negro, fortaleciendo la continuidad de las escenas dispersas.

The name of this series corresponds to the address, in the city of Cologne, of the EL-DE-Haus building, which served from 1935 to 1945 as the headquarters of the Gestapo, the secret police of the National Socialist regime.
What is interesting about this place is that the facilities have remained intact since they were abandoned at the end of the Second World War, making them a highly evocative space with enormous evocative power.
The series aims to be an emotional, rather than descriptive, tour of the place. The images taken there are manipulated based on the author’s subjective vision, emphasising the sensations they produce in the visitor and evoking the events that may have taken place there.
The work is organised in a sequence of fragments of vision, whose elements are linked together by visual and symbolic connections. The images are also intended to blend into the black background, strengthening the continuity of the scattered scenes.
