Paisaje

Paisaje es mi proyecto base. Mi expresión pura, libre y honesta. No recuerdo en qué momento comenzó, ni sé tampoco si terminará. Su evolución está ligada a mi evolución personal.

Cuando estoy en el paisaje, soy el paisaje.

Cuando estoy en el paisaje, soy la roca. Y la arena, y el lagarto, y el rebaño de cabras, y las espinas de la acacia, y los dátiles de la palmera.

Soy lo cercano y lo lejano, esta aldea de adobe y aquellas ruinas que se funden con la montaña.

También soy el viento, el calor, el sol que quema la piel y la lluvia que la refresca.

Todo comienza con la exploración: vagar y disolverse en el paisaje. Liberado de juicios comprendo el lugar, me reconozco en él y en la naturaleza de todas las cosas.

Me abro a la experimentar, escucho con la mirada y siento el discurso impermanente del territorio.

Entonces, me inunda el asombro.

Paisaje soy yo.

Landscape 

Landscape is my core project. My pure, free and honest expression.

I don’t remember when it began, nor do I know if it will ever end. Its evolution is linked to my personal evolution.

When I am in the landscape, I am the landscape.

When I am in the landscape, I am the rock. And the sand, and the lizard, and the herd of goats, and the thorns of the acacia, and the dates of the palm tree.

I am the near and the far, this adobe village and those ruins that merge with the mountain.

I am also the wind, the heat, the sun that burns the skin and the rain that refreshes it.

It all begins with exploration: wandering and dissolving into the landscape. Freed from judgement, I understand the place, I recognise myself in it and in the nature of all things.

I open myself to experience, I listen with my eyes and feel the impermanent dialogue of the territory.

Then, I am flooded with wonder.

Landscape is me.

(The project has undefined boundaries and allows for multiple formalizations. It moves from sticking to the theme to dissolving it in favour of feeling. From aesthetic unity to connection through intuitive links. And from linearity to diversity in representation. As this work is extensive and of indeterminate duration, it is shown on this website in series that represent its evolution in chronological order.)
